Day 150, January 7th, 2010
I felt better in the morning, having had a good cry in the middle of the night!!! John is absolutely right - we didn't get hurt and the boat only got minor damage! Time to move on.
We dinghied over to Las Olas Municipal Marina, just five minutes away on the ICW. We were expecting to have supper the following night with old friends, Sharon and Nev Riddell. We located their hotel on John's GPS Nuvi (GPS Plotter he received for Christmas for the car) and found it was a short walk from the marina, right on the beach. It actually turned out to be a lovely day. We were still dressed in warm clothes but it was actually warm enough to sit on the beach. And what a lovely beach it is. We had fun scouting about and stopping for a bit of lunch and then dinghied back again to the boat.
