Day 202, February 28th, 2010
Fiddled and diddled around in the morning. We had a broken cleat on the starboard side of the boat for a long time. John happened to find an identical cleat in the flea market Saturday morning for $3.00! He was able to get the old one off and the new one on without a problem. Its nice to have that midships cleat back available again.
At 2:00p.m. we met Sharon and Reg and walked to Boatman's Resort & Marina where a whole bunch of Canadians were meeting to watch the Hockey game - Canada vs USA! It was great. About 50 of us turned up, along with about 15 or so Americans. Even I enjoyed watching the game (I never watch hockey!). It was very exciting at the end when the US tied it up 24 seconds before the end of the third and then Crosby scored the winning goal for Canada in overtime. There was some loud cheering!
