Day 229, March 29th, 2010
It was pretty windy in the night, with some heavy rain. We had intended to move on but both reckoned it might be better to stay put. When we turned the weather channel on for the forecast, the decision was easily made - Tornado warning! We let out more rode to 120 ft. and sat tight. Again, it seemed a bit of an anti climax as the tornado blew through into the Atlantic and we were just left with strong winds and torrential rain off and on all day. No trouble, we read our books and played Scrabble.
After supper (hamburger stew with a loaf of John's homemade bread!), we went to another small beach and hiked a pretty trail through the bush. It was good to get some exercise and fresh air.
